About the League of Catholic Women
Founded in Minneapolis in 1911, the League of Catholic Women is dedicated to supporting and affirming women and families as they face the challenges of each new era.
Open to women of all faith traditions who support our mission and share our values, the League is a self-governing, self-supporting non-profit organization.
After celebrating our centennial year in 2011-12, we are embarking on another 100 years carrying forward a vibrant mix of social services, supportive friendship and spiritual enrichment. Women with courage, vision, and heart lit a little light in the midst of the city in 1911. We aim to keep this light burning brightly to warm the hearts of those who come to us
in need of material, emotional, and spiritual support.
