Spiritual

Spiritual Conversation Book Club

Members meet at 11:30 on the second Monday of every month at the League’s downtown center. Together they choose a specific book they feel will broaden and deepen their spiritual lives. They read and discuss one chapter of their selection each month until the book is finished. Authors from a variety of faith traditions and backgrounds are read, although Catholic spiritual authors are probably chosen most often. This is an open-minded, open-hearted group of women who listen to and respect each other’s views and walk their spiritual journeys together.

Advent & Lenten Retreat Days

Each Lent the League sponsors a day of reflection, including a speaker, Mass, and a luncheon. This event is usually held in a church or other gathering place.

Speakers on Spiritual Issues
